Can Men Really Go Through Menopause?

Yes, men menopause symptoms really do exist. It’s actually called male menopause or andropause. 

Yes, men (not just women) can experience hot flashes, night sweats, depression, memory goes down, and libido goes down. While this is all happening, the estrogen goes up and testosterone goes down. 

In the hypothalamus in your brain, there’s like a thermostat that controls temperature. There’s basically a cyclic thing going on from the hypothalamus to the pituitary down to the gonads. 

When this system gets altered, this can create hot flashes in men and even women. This is all because the hypothalamus controls the temperature and pulse rate. It’s also on a timing mechanism as well. 

It’s just a matter of lowering the estrogen to bring up the testosterone. 


Do it naturally with calciferous vegetables

To do it naturally, it’s the calciferous vegetables such as kale, broccoli, and Brussel sprouts. Another good remedy is the herb stinging nettle root. 

Men that have too much estrogen will have prostate enlargement, breast tissue, or even hair loss. 

There’s something in cruciferous vegetables called DIM. You can get this from a supplement. 

So, men menopause is real thing do to too high estrogen and too low testosterone. And it’s due to the circuitry being off in the endocrine system. 


Men Exposed to Estrogen

Men are becoming exposed to estrogen more and more as time goes on. This is likely mainly coming from GMO foods. If you aren’t doing organic, then you are likely getting estrogen through foods like chicken, red meat, soy, and corn. Corn is in just about everything, so if you aren’t eating organic, then you are very likely consuming estrogen. 

The more fat you have on your body, the more estrogen you are going to make.  

So if you are fat, then the fat on your body is working against you. 

So what’s the solution?

Lose the weight is what you need to do. 

Prostate cancer is coming from estrogen so we have to lower it.

There’s also an enzyme called aromatase which takes the last bit of testosterone you have and converts it to estrogen. This isn’t good for low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, or urination at night because the prostate is so enlarged. 

So what can we do about this?

Two big issues at the liver…

1) Cirrhosis of the liver. This comes from inflammation or a fatty liver. Also comes from drinking alcohol over the years, or hepatitis. Cirrhosis is basically scar tissue.  

2) Fatty liver. This comes from high levels of insulin over the years. Eating processed foods, junk foods, drinking alcohol, and not eating enough healthy things. So maybe you don’t ever eat any vegetables or you have been eating a lot of sugar for many years. 


Men Menopause and Solutions to Liver Problems

So now you have a liver problem. What are you going to do?

There’s an enzyme called sera pep case to take to get rid of scar tissue. You also need to eat leafy green vegetables. 

If you have a fatty liver, the choline is the mineral to focus on. It’s a fat-soluble B vitamin that will help reduce fat in the liver.  This is in addition to lowering insulin. 

You really want to work towards correcting the condition that is referred to as insulin resistance. This is the condition that is making the liver fatty. 

The best nutritional remedy or tip for lowering estrogen in men and women is cruciferous vegetables. 

Another thing to do is consuming cultured vegetables such as fermented sauerkraut (raw, not heated) or fermented pickles (I like the Bubby’s brand).
